Who we are
Up Nextd is a waitlist tool for appointment-based businesses — salons, clinics, studios — built in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at contact@upnextd.com.
When you join a business’s waitlist, that business is the one you are dealing with: it decides who to contact and when. Up Nextd provides the tool and stores the list on the business’s behalf.
What we collect when you join a waitlist
- Your name.
- Your WhatsApp number.
- Your email address, if you choose to give one.
- The service you are waiting for and how soon you could come in, if you tell us.
- The date and time you joined.
To protect the join page from abuse we also keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address for one hour. The address itself is never stored, and the hash is deleted automatically.
What we use it for
One thing: so the business can tell you when an appointment opens up. Your number is where that message goes; your email is a backup in case WhatsApp doesn’t reach you. We do not use your details for advertising, and we never sell or share them with anyone other than the business you joined and the providers below.
The business may add a note to your record for its own use — a preference, an allergy — the same way it might in an appointment book.
Messages
Offers are sent by the business from its own WhatsApp account. Once a message is on WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to it. Up Nextd does not read your replies.
Where your details are kept
On servers run by Supabase (our database provider) in Singapore, and served through Vercel (our hosting provider). Both hold data on our behalf and under contract; neither uses it for its own purposes.
How long we keep it
While you are on a waitlist, and afterwards as part of the business’s customer records — so a business can recognise you when you come back, and see what it has booked for you before. If a business stops using Up Nextd, its lists are deleted with its account.
Being taken off a list, and your other rights
Ask the business, or email us at contact@upnextd.com, and we will remove you. You can also ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted entirely. We will answer within 30 days.
Cookies
The waitlist page sets no cookies and does no tracking. Business owners who sign in to manage their list get a session cookie that keeps them signed in, and nothing else.
Business owners
If you run a business on Up Nextd, we keep your email address and a securely hashed password for your account, your business details, and the lists your customers join. Your customers’ details are yours to manage; this policy is what we promise them on your behalf. The rest of the agreement between us is in the terms of service.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters to you, the date at the top will change with it. Questions go to contact@upnextd.com.
